getting rid of hidden line breaks

A paragraph of text cut-and-pasted from an email straight into Wallace may contain hidden line breaks (shown exposed in the example below )

When women go to prison we rarely hear from the people who it affects the most … ¶
the children. Often an incarcerated mother is the sole carer, and her children ¶
can face disrupted living arrangements without any responsible, loving, adult ¶
on the scene. In this feature, three grown up children tell of their experience ¶
of a mother in gaol. ¶

When viewed in Wallace the paragraph will seem solid, but when published online, it will appear broken up, as follows:

When women go to prison we rarely hear from the people who it
affects the most ...
the children. Often an incarcerated mother is the sole carer, and her
children
can face disrupted living arrangements without any responsible,
loving, adult
on the scene. In this feature, three grown up children tell of their
experience
of a mother in gaol.

The line breaks can be exposed by pasting the emailed text into a Word document and selecting the ¶ symbol from the Word toolbar. Then each unwanted line break can be deleted manually and the cleaned text posted in Wallace.

Remember the useful keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+A highlights all text on the page, Ctrl+C copies it, and Ctrl+V pastes it to a new page.

The best way to select a portion of text from a document is to highlight the first and final words while holding down the Shift key.
